Saturday morning was cool and windy. The beautiful Ulen Country Club in Lebanon was the site Charlie and four rookies took on the some of the best golf teams in the state as they teed off in the prestigious Kent Frandsen Ulen Invitational Absence for the week of key players for the Senior Trip provided an opportunity for first time major invitational players Cooper O’Brien 96, Will Heidt 105, Will Uitts 111, and Zach Kurth 114 a taste of 18 hole competition. Their scores and a solid 82 by Charlie combined for a team total of 395. Guerin Catholic won the Invitational with 287. Eli Wessel was medalist with a 3 under par 67. Hot Dogs hope to be at full strength when Lebanon and Danville visit the Commons on Wednesday.
