The volleyball team had a late night in Monticello on Thursday, but brought home the jv and varsity wins. The jv played with a new lineup as they are pushing through injuries and illness, but still got the sweep 25-15, 26-24. Rayann Perkins served well tonight going 19/19 with 2 aces. This included a five point run to win game two. Avery Loveless had 10 assists and 7 digs, and Noemi Sandoval had 3 aces and 10 digs. For the varsity, it was a big night for the freshmen. Brenley Brown had 11 kills and 16 digs, and Lorelei Baetz had a personal best of 9 kills and 2 solo blocks. Lily Rockhold put down 15 kills, Caroline Queen had 13 digs, and Chloe Moudy had 5 kills. Grace Myers was the target of TL's offensive strategy, picking up a personal best of 24 digs with 36 assists. Emely Gil Guijosa also had a solid game with 9 digs and 2 aces. The team has the weekend off but will play at Sheridan on Monday evening and then invites everyone out to Case Arena on Tuesday evening to honor our seven seniors and our bookkeeper, Susan Davis, who will be on the score table for the final time after over 40 years of service to our Hot Dog athletes.
