Hot Dog Volleyball Over Rossville

Both the JV and varsity volleyball teams opened their regular season with wins over Rossville. To start the evening, Grace Myers came out serving three aces for the JV. Grace went on to have 18 assists and 5 total aces. Madi Shoemaker played a smart match with 6 kills and 6 aces. Erin Wills and Kynlee Myers each put down five kills, and Morgan Berry added 6 digs and 2 aces on 12/12 serving. After a slow start, the varsity beat Rossville 3-1, bringing their record to 4-1. Lily Rockhold was on fire with 20 kills, hitting .296 on the night. Jalen Smith led all around with 35 assists and 18 digs. Morgan Harrington picked up 15 digs while Ella McAtee and Justine Thomas each had 10 digs and 7 kills. Addy Keck added 2 solo blocks, and Chloe Moudy had a solo block and 2 kills. Caroline Queen had 11 digs and Ashley Zheng was 11/11 serving.
