The varsity and jv volleyball teams swept Delphi last night on Teacher Appreciation Night in Case Arena. The team honored 22 different educators who have made an impact on the players. In varsity action, Lily Rockhold had 12 kills, and Jalen Smith had 31 assists with two solo blocks. Justin Thomas had 8 kills, Chloe Moudy had 6 kills, and both Addy Keck and Ella McAtee had 3 kills. Defensively, Caroline Queen had 7 digs, Ashly Zheng had 5 digs & 4 aces, Morgan Harrington had 3 digs, and Daizy Santos Valdez had 3 digs and an ace. For the JV, Erin Wills led the way with 6 aces and 3 kills. Maddi Shoemaker had 6 aces and 4 kills, Grace Myers had 10 assists, and Morgan Berry had 3 aces and 5 digs. The JV is 4-0 and the varsity is 7-1. The team had two big games next week at home against Western and West Lafayette on Wednesday and Thursday.
