The Football team saw significant improvement defensively but still came up short and fell to 0-2. The game was delayed to Saturday due to storms, but the Dogs came out locked in and played with physicality on Saturday evening. Lalo Castillo and RJ Cornman again lead the offense. Lalo had 22 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown to go along with 4 catches for 66 yards. RJ added 3 catches for 46 yards that included a diving one handed reception. Dennis Barkley finished the game 7 of 12 for 112 passing yards and had 14 yards rushing. Keifer Dooley and Lalo Castillo lead the defense with 9 tackles apiece. Lalo caused two fumbles. Takoda Fischer caused a fumble and recovered a fumble. Keifer and Derron Barkley also had fumble recoveries. The Hot Dogs will travel to Lizton for the final matchup against Tri West.
