The volleyball teams had a rough night against strong West Lafayette on Thursday evening. Although the team learned several tough lessons, there were sparks of promise for each team. The JV team played tough defense tonight against strong hitters. Morgan Berry and Grace Myers each had 9 digs, and Izzy Edgar had 8 digs. For the varsity, the team had some of the biggest blocks of the season against a strong West Side offense. Addy Keck and Ella McAtee each had a block assist while Jalen Smith and Chloe Moudy each had a solo and an assist. Lily Rockhold had 6 kills and Jalen Smith had 5 kills while the Hot Dog offense hit .172 - meaning that when we were able to get in system, the team was effective. The team looks to rest and recover this weekend to prepare for a big week ahead. The team will play 7 matches next week, including two conference opponents (Lebanon and Tri-West).
