Frankfort High School

The varsity volleyball team played in the Hornet Invite on Saturday and placed 4th out of 12 teams. The team played strong in pool play, but came out flat in the championship bracket, leaving them at 2-2 after a week that had the dogs playing 7 matches. Jalen Smith had 57 assists and 11 kills on the day. Lily Rockhold had 31 kills and 23 digs. Offensively, Ella McAtee had 6 kills and Justine Thomas had 8 kills. The middle blockers had an excellent day with Chloe Moudy tallying 7 kills and 2 blocks, and Addy Keck having 3 blocks and 5 kills. Caroline Queen led in digs with 29, Morgan Harrington picked up 24 digs, Ashley Zheng had 14 digs, and Daizy Santos Valdez had 3 digs. The team is 12-5 and ready to travel to Sheridan on Tuesday night.
