The volleyball team traveled to Sheridan tonight and both the JV and the varsity picked up wins. For the JV, Kynlee Myers had an impressive match with 12 kills and four aces. Grace Myers had 15 assists and nine digs with seven aces, Maddie Shoemaker had four kills, and Morgan Berry had nine digs and two aces. Bella Vega picked up five digs, giving the JV their eighth win of the season. It took four games for the Hot Dogs to take down Sheridan, but they got the job done in a nail biter come from behind win in game four. Jalen Smith had a solid match with 28 assists, four blocks, 12 digs, and 14 kills - 10 of those kills coming in game four. Lily Rockhold had 14 kills and four blocks, and Chloe Moudy had seven kills and two blocks. Addy Keck had a personal best of five blocks with two kills. Leading the defense was Caroline Queen with 20 digs. Morgan Harrington picked up 14 digs, and Ashley Zheng had 12 digs. Ella McAtee also had a big defensive night with 11 digs and four aces. Justine Thomas added eight digs and five kills. The varsity is 13-5 and travels to Western Boone on Thursday evening.
