The varsity volleyball team swept tipped in tonight despite Tipton’s scrappy, never quit attitude on defense, Jalen Smith was able to get 35 assists and 5 kills. Lily Rockhold had 19 kills, and Justine Thomas had eight kills. Ella McAtee had four kills and 10 digs. Chloe Moudy and Addy Keck each added three kills. Defensively, Caroline Queen had a season high with 24 digs. Ashley Zheng added six digs, and Morgan Harrington had seven digs. The team is 16-8 heading into Thursday’s match against Clinton Prairie at home. The JV played hard but fell in three to Tipton. Kynlee Myers had 10 kills, Morgan Berry had 13 digs, Grace Myers had 13 assists, and Sadie Sheets had an impressive serving night with nine aces. A special birthday shout out to Susan Davis for spending her birthday with us at Tipton!
