The Lady Hot Dogs welcomed the Red Devils to Case Arena on Tuesday evening, January 7th. The Lady Hot Dogs played one of their most enthusiastic and energetic games, almost drawing even in the 2nd half with West Lafayette in the 54-15 defeat. In the point category we were led by Ella McAtee with 6, Briana Flores 5, and Ava Jarman with 4. On the glass we were led by Briana Flores with 11, and Ava Jarman with 6. Ella McAtee and Ava Jarman each had 2 assists, and Briana Flores had 6 deflections. As a team we had 8 steals total with Ella McAtee, Gracie Layton, and Ava Jarman each having 2 and Briana Flores and Given West each having one. The Lady Hot Dogs Varsity plays again on Friday at Lebanon. In the JV game the Hot Dogs were eager to compete after being off for a couple of weeks. In the 46-11 defeat we played hard defensively and pushed the ball. Offensively we had some nice action with cutters through the middle of the floor. We were led in scoring by Ava Jarman with 9 and Erin Wills with 2. The JV plays again on Thursday at Home vs. Lebanon. Go Hot Dogs!
