On Friday night, the Lady Hot Dogs honored their seniors, Ella McAtee, Daizy Santos Valdez, and Finja Schnurr. The evening included a court appearance by Daizy, who had been injured. The team had 38 rebounds (13 offensive and 25 defensive) and 12 steals. Ava Jarman had her second career double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Ella showed hustle and contributed to the team on both ends of the court with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Bri Flores also had 4 steals, 4 assists, and was a problem for Crawfordsville on the defensive end of the court, getting rebounds, jump balls, and staying in every play to give our team the opportunity. The team continues to make rebounding a focus after getting 43 against Logansport and 38 against Crawfordsville. The was topped off with three team members being represented on the Homecoming Court and two former players crowing the winners. We would like to congratulate Daizy on being crowned Homecoming Queen and a GIANT thank you to our seniors. The ladies will play Tri-West tomorrow at 7 in Lebanon in the first round of Sectional play.
