The boys JV beat WeBo 5-0 in a 9v9, 35 minute game. Goals by Harley Sheets, Danny Leon-Mayorga, Israel Vasquez-Bautista, Alan Martinez, and Irbin Hernandez. Assists by Jesus Mejia-Mora (from his goalkeeping position) and Pablo Vasquez. Jesus Mejia-Mora had one save Boys varsity beat a tough, defensive minded WeBo team 1-0. We held possession for at least 80% of the game, and got a goal from Sebastian Mora, assisted by Oscar Cordova. We’re now 1-1 on the season and 1-0 in the MAC. The Dogs play in our own HotDog Invitational this Saturday, August 23, at 9am against Purdue Polytechnic.
