Volleyball Senior Day

The volleyball team put away new conference opponent North Putnam on Saturday morning and celebrated their seniors with a sweep. First in JV action, Bella Vega had a personal best of 12 kills and nine digs. Izzy Edgar had five kills with 12 digs, Hadley Shaffer had three kills, Jaylyn Stewart had 16 assists, and Maylie Perez had two kills. Sadie Sheets had four digs, and Maddie Shoemaker had 18 digs. Morgan Berry had 16 digs and two aces. In varsity action, senior Jalen Smith had 23 assists, three kills, and a solo block, and our other senior, Adelaide Keck, had three kills, one ace and one block. Lily Rockhold had 13 kills and eight aces. Caroline Queen had 10 digs, four aces, and four kills. Chloe Moudy continues to battle at the net with three kills and four blocks. Sophie Michael had two kills, and Emely Gil-Guijosa had one dig. Karmen Vega had one ace and two digs. Finally, Grace Myers, had a solid morning with 12 digs and five aces. The team has another big week going to county rival Clinton Central on Tuesday and the final home match on Thursday against Twin Lakes. They will also welcome the Clinton County 5th grade teams on Monday at 5:30 at FHS.
