On Saturday both the girls and boys swim teams headed off to Crawfordsville to face off in the first ever Monon Athletic Conference Swimming Finals. Both teams had an exceptional Performance. The Girls 200 Medley Relay consisting of Shaffer, Cornejo-Torres, Figueroa and Campbell dropped a PR and placed 5th in their event. The Boys 200 Medley Relay consisting of Argerbright, Troyer, Varner and Kays also dropped a PR and placed 6th in their Event. The boys 200 yard Freestyle relay consisting of Dudley, Hillman, Whitlock and Hall dropped a PR and placed 5th in their event, The girls 400 Freestlye relay consisting of Castaneda, Figueroa, Shaffer and Campbell had a massive PR dropping 22.59 seconds to place 7th in their Relay. The boys 400 Free relay consisting of Dudley, Hillman, Whitlock and Hall had an incredible relay placing 5th. Individually the dogs fought hard and had some amazing placings. In the girls 200 IM Hadley Shaffer dropped 5 seconds of her PR to place 6th, in the girls 50 Free Madison Campbell dropped 1 second off her PR to place 9th. In the boys 50 Free Josh hall swam hard coming up just shy of a PR to place 8th, right behind him was Max Whitlock and Julian Hillman who both dropped PR's Placing 10th (Hillman), and Placing 11th (Whitlock). In the Girls 100 Fly Giselle Figueroa Dropped 3.5 seconds off her PR and placed 4th, Right behind her was Hadley Shaffer who dropped 1 second off her PR to place 5th. In the girls 100 Free Madison Campbell dropped 1 second to place 12th in her event. In the boys 100 Free Max Whitlock dropped 1 second in his event placing 6th. In the boys 100 Backstroke, Tanner Argerbright dropped 1 second to place 8th. In the girls 100 Breaststroke, Giselle Figueroa dropped 1 second to place 11th.
